UrbanSaaS uses AI-powered ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) cameras to detect and recognize vehicle license plates. Authorized vehicles are granted access automatically, and all entries and exits are logged in real time on a secure web portal.
The setup includes:
- 2 ANPR cameras (entry & exit)
- 1 small smart controller
- On-site installation and configuration
- A dedicated cloud portal (e.g. abc.urbansaas.my)
- Initial training for management staff
No. UrbanSaaS is web-based and mobile-friendly. Residents can access their portal directly from a link or QR code using any browser on their phone, tablet, or PC.
UrbanSaaS is built with fail-safes. There are two layers of protection:
- Local offline fallback: The smart controller stores access data locally. Registered vehicles will still be recognized and granted access even if the internet is temporarily down.
- Backup internet option: We recommend communities install a 4G SIM card router or mobile data dongle as a secondary connection. If the primary internet (e.g., Unifi, TIME) goes offline, the system switches to mobile data to stay connected to the cloud.
Yes. Community managers can allow residents to:
- Add/manage their own vehicles
- Register visitors and send them QR access passes
We offer two options:
- RM1 per household per month, with RM1 per additional car (minimum RM300/month)
- A flat rate of RM500/month for communities with up to 400 households
Yes. Our optional billing module integrates with Curlec to:
- Send recurring invoices to residents
- Enable FPX or auto-debit collection
- Track and report payment status
Yes. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Each community has its own isolated database. We follow strict data handling policies and support compliance with PDPA and other local regulations.
Yes. If your policy requires it, guards can use a tablet or computer to approve visitor QR codes, verify vehicles, or monitor the system in real time.
